These outdoor talk and walk sessions are for both pregnant and new parents. Enjoy some light outdoor exercise whilst meeting other local parents. Walks will last 1 hour and will be followed by a hot drink and a chat.
Those who have never exercised before are particularly welcome, so why not give it a go? You might surprise yourself!

One session is held on Wednesdays 1.30-2.15pm at The Flowers Community Hall, Lime Close, South Ockendon.
The other session is held Fridays from 1-1.45pm at Aveley Library & Community Hub, Recreation Ground Car Park, High St, Aveley, South Ockendon RM15 4BX.
Every Tuesday, head down to the village hall for self-defence sessions with Essex Karate. The sessions are £5.
It’s time to ditch the car! Walk, cycle or wheel to school or work this week. All Beat Boxes will be giving out double points from 7am - 9am and 3pm - 6pm each weekday up to and including 6 May.
Volunteer at the community litter pick, this group is intent on making a difference to everyone in its community and you are all very welcome to take part.

Join Sue Yates, Chair of Thurrock Local History Society, for a walk along the ancient Pilgrim route from Davy Down to St Clement’s West Thurrock.
Discover historical gems along the way, including the 14-arch viaduct, Stifford Pumping Station, and St Clement’s Church, where pilgrims once prayed before crossing the river to Canterbury. After the walk, enjoy refreshments, and a talk inside St Clement’s Church, of Four Weddings and a Funeral fame.
